Arthur Treacher’s to open 1st ghost kitchen this month

Arthur Treacher’s will open its first virtual kitchen presence in Baltimore this month. (Provided)

Arthur Treacher’s — which recently announced its conversion to a ghost kitchen brand — will partner with Franklin Junction to use the latter’s so-called “Host Kitchens” to open 100 locations of the seafood QSR by year’s end.

Franklin Junction’s Host Kitchens are existing restaurants with the capacity to add a variety of delivery-only menus with established growth brands interested in low-capital expansion to new markets through delivery-only presence, a news release said.

Universal to open new Asian Bend the Bao quick service restaurant

ORLANDO, Fla – Universal Orlando said Monday that it’s set to open the new food Asian food venue, Bend The Bao, at CityWalk on June 15.

The new venue takes over the former Fusion Bistro Sushi & Sake Bar that closed in April.

Universal said the new venue will feature a variety of delicious items that fuse popular Asian cuisine with diverse ingredients like crab cakes, pork belly, kimchee fried chicken and more.
