Famous Dave’s to launch its first ‘line service’ restaurant in the Twin Cities

Minnetonka-based Famous Dave’s is working on a new style of service it says will be more convenient for customers looking for barbecue. 

The barbeque franchise will introduce a “line-service,” cafeteria-style model called Famous Dave’s Quick-Que in Coon Rapids this September, a news release says

Englewood Lee’s Famous Recipe restaurant first in Miami Valley to test new AI technology at the drive-thru

ENGLEWOOD, Ohio (WDTN) – Lee’s Famous Recipe, a fast food restaurant in Englewood, is one of the first in the Miami Valley to test Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology for ordering at the drive through.

A Turkish chef who got the nickname “Salt Bae” after he was called “the Internet’s sexiest butcher” told his 33 million followers on Instagram that Nusr-Et Steakhouse “is ready” to open in Dallas.

Iconic Charlotte restaurant Mr. Kr’s Ice Cream closing down

Mr. K’s Soft Ice Cream, the old-fashioned burger joint on South Boulevard, will close its doors Friday after more than 50 years in Charlotte.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Mr. K’s Soft Ice Cream, a beloved ice cream shop and diner in Charlotte’s South End, will close for the final time Friday after more than 53 years in business. 

The restaurant made the announcement on its Facebook page. Mr. K’s, located on South Boulevard in the heart of South End, will be open from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. Friday.
